What information do I need to order prescription glasses online?
You typically need your up‑to‑date prescription, including OD, OS, SPH, CYL, Axis, and PD. For progressive or bifocal lenses, ADD is also required. For Prism correction, Prism numbers are also required. We recommend providing a copy of your prescription for our reference.
What is the difference between single vision, bifocal, and progressive lenses?
Single vision lenses have the same prescription across the entire lens, ideal for distance. Bifocal lenses have two distinct zones separated by a visible line - one for distance, one for near. Progressive lenses offer a smooth transition from distance to near without visible lines.
What is blue light blocking, and do I need it?
Blue light blocking is a special lens coating that filters harmful high-energy blue light emitted from phones, laptops and screens. It is recommended for people spending long hours on digital devices to ease eye fatigue and strain.
How long should a pair of prescription glasses last?
Typically, a well‑made pair can last 1–3 years with normal daily use. Frames may loosen or get scratches over time, and your prescription might change. Regular adjustments and cleaning help extend their life.
